The Poet's Inn was envisioned not as a commercial resort, but as an unhurried mountain haven where travelers, poets, and wanderers find quietude beside the glacial murmurs of the Lidder river.

Every chamber in The Poet's Inn reflects the living craft traditions of Kashmir. The ceilings are fitted with Khatamband — intricate wooden geometric polygons fitted together without a single nail. The windows feature Pinjrakari, handcrafted lattice screens that filter alpine sunlight into geometric constellations upon the cedar floors.
Instead of centralized HVAC blowing artificial air, we honor centuries-old mountain wisdom: heated stone floors, thick soundproof riverstone masonry, wool-padded curtains, and individual wood-fired bukhari stoves attended by local village craftsmen.
